إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱشْتَرَىٰ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَأَمْوَٰلَهُم بِأَنَّ لَهُمُ ٱلْجَنَّةَ يُقَٰتِلُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَقْتُلُونَ وَيُقْتَلُونَ وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّا فِى ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ وَٱلْإِنجِيلِ وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ وَمَنْ أَوْفَىٰ بِعَهْدِهِۦ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ فَٱسْتَبْشِرُوا۟ بِبَيْعِكُمُ ٱلَّذِى بَايَعْتُم بِهِۦ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
God has bought from the believers their lives and their wealth, and the Garden is theirs. They fight in the way of God, and they kill and are killed. It is a promise binding on Him in truth, in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. And who keeps his covenant better than God? So rejoice in the bargain you have made. That is the supreme winning.
اللہ تعالیٰ نے مومنوں سے ان کی جانیں اور ان کا مال خرید لیا ہے، اس کے بدلے میں کہ ان کے لیے جنت ہے۔ وہ اللہ کی راہ میں جنگ کرتے ہیں، سو وہ قتل کرتے ہیں اور قتل کیے جاتے ہیں۔ یہ اللہ کے ذمے ایک سچا وعدہ ہے، تورات میں بھی، انجیل میں بھی، اور قرآن میں بھی۔ اور اللہ سے بڑھ کر اپنا وعدہ پورا کرنے والا اور کون ہوگا؟ سو اپنے اس سودے پر خوش ہو جاؤ جو تم نے کیا ہے۔ یہی سب سے بڑی کامیابی ہے۔
