قَٰتِلُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَلَا بِٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ وَلَا يُحَرِّمُونَ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَلَا يَدِينُونَ دِينَ ٱلْحَقِّ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ حَتَّىٰ يُعْطُوا۟ ٱلْجِزْيَةَ عَن يَدٍ وَهُمْ صَٰغِرُونَ
Fight those given the Book who do not believe in God or the Last Day, and do not treat as forbidden what God and His Messenger have forbidden, and do not follow the religion of truth, until they pay the tribute from their own hand, without holding back, and are brought low.
ان اہل کتاب سے جنگ کرو جو نہ اللہ پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں اور نہ یوم آخرت پر، اور نہ ہی اس چیز کو حرام سمجھتے ہیں جسے اللہ اور اس کے رسول نے حرام ٹھہرایا ہے، اور نہ سچے دین کی پیروی کرتے ہیں، یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنے ہاتھ سے، بغیر کسی پس و پیش کے، جزیہ ادا کریں اور وہ ذلیل ہو کر رہیں۔
