ٱسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ أَوْ لَا تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ إِن تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ سَبْعِينَ مَرَّةً فَلَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ
Ask forgiveness for them, or do not ask forgiveness for them. Even if you asked forgiveness for them seventy times, God will not forgive them. That is because they refused God and His Messenger, and God does not guide a people who leave obedience.
تم ان کے لیے بخشش مانگو یا نہ مانگو، اگر تم ستر مرتبہ بھی ان کے لیے بخشش مانگو تو بھی اللہ انہیں ہرگز معاف نہیں کرے گا۔ یہ اس لیے کہ انہوں نے اللہ اور اس کے رسول کا انکار کیا، اور اللہ تعالیٰ نافرمان لوگوں کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا۔
