وَإِذَآ أُنزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ أَنْ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَجَٰهِدُوا۟ مَعَ رَسُولِهِ ٱسْتَـْٔذَنَكَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلطَّوْلِ مِنْهُمْ وَقَالُوا۟ ذَرْنَا نَكُن مَّعَ ٱلْقَٰعِدِينَ
And when a sura is sent down saying: believe in God and struggle alongside His Messenger, those of means among them ask your leave, and say: let us be with those who sit at home.
اور جب کوئی سورت نازل کی جاتی ہے کہ اللہ پر ایمان لاؤ اور اس کے رسول کے ساتھ مل کر جہاد کرو، تو ان میں سے صاحب حیثیت لوگ آپ سے اجازت مانگتے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں: ہمیں چھوڑ دیجیے، ہم بیٹھنے والوں کے ساتھ ہی رہیں۔
