أَوْ مِسْكِينًا ذَا مَتْرَبَةٍ
Or a poor man in the dust. The commentaries gloss the phrase of one whose need has brought him down to the ground, with nothing left between him and the dust.
یا ”مِسْکِیْنًا ذَا مَتْرَبَۃٍ“ یعنی وہ محتاج جو فقر کی شدت سے مٹی میں رُل رہا ہو اور اس کے پاس ٹھکانے کو کچھ نہ ہو۔ ظاہر میں یہ سب مال خرچ کرنے کے کام ہیں، مگر حقیقت میں یہ مال کی محبت کی گھاٹی کو عبور کرنا ہے۔ یہی محبت انسان اور نجات کے درمیان چٹان بنی کھڑی ہے، اور اسے وہی پار کرتا ہے جو اپنی پیاری چیز خرچ کرے۔
