وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰهَا
And the night when it covers it over. The commentaries gloss the covering as darkness laid back over what the day had shown, and they read the four oaths together: light and dark keeping their turns in order is itself the sign being pointed at.
اور رات کی قسم جب وہ اسے ڈھانپ لے۔ رات اپنی تاریکی سے سب کچھ چھپا لیتی ہے یہاں تک کہ زمین پر ہر چیز اندھیرے میں چلی جاتی ہے۔ رات پردہ ڈالنے والی ہے اور دن کھولنے والا؛ انہی دونوں کے مسلسل بدلنے سے لوگوں کی زندگی اور معاش کا نظام قائم ہے۔
