وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا
And the sky, and the building of it. The commentaries agree the oath does not stop at the thing named: the sky is sworn by together with its being built, so that what is pointed to is the One who built it.
اور آسمان کی قسم اور اس کی مضبوط اور مستحکم بناوٹ کی۔ وہ بغیر کسی ظاہری ستون کے بلند کیا گیا ہے، اس میں نہ کوئی شگاف ہے اور نہ کوئی خلل۔ یہ تخلیق میں کمالِ استحکام کی مثال ہے، جیسا کہ اس کے بعد آنے والی چیز ہمواری اور آسانی کی مثال ہے۔
