وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا
And the earth, and the spreading of it. The commentaries gloss the word as extending and widening - the earth laid out broad enough for people to live on it and take what they need from it.
اور زمین کی قسم اور اس کے بچھائے اور پھیلائے جانے کی۔ اسے ہموار اور نرم بنایا گیا تاکہ لوگ اس پر ٹھہر سکیں اور اس کے فوائد سے کام لے سکیں۔ یوں تیسرا جوڑا مکمل ہوا: آسمان کی بلندی اور زمین کی ہمواری۔
