وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْـَٔاخِرَةَ وَٱلْأُولَىٰ
And Ours is the last and the first. The commentaries gloss the two as the life to come and this one, both belonging to God in ownership and in disposal, so that whoever seeks either of them from anyone else has gone to the wrong door.
اور آخرت اور دنیا دونوں کی ملکیت ہماری ہی ہے، ہم ان میں جیسا چاہیں تصرف کریں۔ چنانچہ جو ان میں سے کوئی چیز کسی اور سے مانگے، اس نے غلط دروازہ کھٹکھٹایا۔ اس میں یہ بھی ہے کہ راستہ بتانا اسی کا کام ہے اور بدلہ دینا بھی اسی کے ہاتھ میں، ان دونوں میں کسی اور کا کوئی حصہ نہیں۔
