فَأَنذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًا تَلَظَّىٰ
So I have warned you of a Fire that blazes. The commentaries gloss the last word as flaming up and burning fiercely, and they agree this warning is what the whole sura has been building towards.
”پس میں نے تمہیں ڈرا دیا“ — ایسی آگ سے جو بھڑک رہی ہے اور جس کے شعلے تیز ہیں۔ ڈرانا عذاب سے پہلے آتا ہے، اس لیے یہ خوف کی صورت میں دراصل رحمت ہے۔ اور یہ تنبیہ دونوں راستوں کے بیان کے بعد آئی تاکہ معلوم ہو کہ ان میں سے ایک کا انجام کیا ہے۔
