وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ
And called the best a lie. The commentaries set this line exactly against the sixth: the same thing is held true there and denied here, and everything that follows turns on which of the two a man did.
اور اس نے ”حُسنیٰ“ کو جھٹلا دیا، یعنی اُس اچھی بات اور اُس بدلے کا انکار کیا جس کا اللہ نے وعدہ کیا تھا۔ جب اسے بدلے پر یقین ہی نہ رہا تو خرچ کرنے پر آمادہ کرنے والی کوئی چیز باقی نہ رہی۔ یعنی یہاں بخل محض طبیعت کی کنجوسی نہیں، تکذیب کا پھل ہے۔
