وَوَضَعْنَا عَنكَ وِزْرَكَ
And lift from you your burden. The commentaries gloss the word as a weight he was under, and the lifting as its being taken off him altogether rather than made lighter to carry.
اور ہم نے آپ سے آپ کا بوجھ اتار دیا۔ ”وِزْر“ اُس بھاری بوجھ کو کہتے ہیں، اور جب یہ فعل ”عن“ کے ساتھ آئے تو اس کے معنی اتار دینے اور ہلکا کر دینے کے ہوتے ہیں۔ یعنی اللہ نے وہ چیز آپ سے دور کر دی جو آپ پر بھاری تھی اور آپ کو ہر اُس چیز سے پاک رکھا جس کا اٹھانا نفس پر گراں ہوتا ہے۔
