أَرَءَيْتَ إِن كَانَ عَلَى ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ
Have you seen - if he is upon guidance? The commentaries agree the one asked about here is the man being forbidden, and read the question as turning the case round: look at what the one forbidding is actually stopping.
”ذرا بتایئے، اگر یہ (روکا جانے والا) ہدایت پر ہو؟“ یعنی جو اپنے رب کی طرف سے بصیرت پر ہو، اسے روکنے کا کیا جواز ہے؟ یہ سوال معاملے کا رخ روکنے والے کی طرف پھیر دیتا ہے اور اس کی حرکت کی بےبنیادی کھول دیتا ہے۔ روکے جانے والے میں ایسی کوئی بات نہیں جو روکنے کا سبب بنے، بلکہ ایسی بات ہے جو پیروی کا تقاضا کرتی ہے۔
