إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ
Those who believe and do righteous deeds - they are the best of creatures. The commentaries set this line exactly against the one before it, with the same word for creatures standing at the end of both, so that the two verdicts are read as one pair.
بیشک وہ لوگ جو دل سے ایمان لائے اور اعضا سے نیک عمل کیے، وہی ”خَیْرُ الْبَرِیَّۃ“ یعنی تمام مخلوق میں بہترین ہیں۔ ”بَرِیَّۃ“ کے معنی مخلوق کے ہیں، اور یہ ”بَرْء“ (پیدا کرنا) سے ہے۔ یہ وصف پچھلی آیت کے بالکل مقابل آیا: وہاں مخلوق میں بدترین، یہاں مخلوق میں بہترین۔
