جَزَآؤُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّٰتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا رَّضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِىَ رَبَّهُۥ
Their reward with their Lord is Gardens of Eden with rivers running under them, staying there for ever. God is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. That is for the one who fears his Lord. The commentaries gloss the two pleasures as answering each other - His with what they did, theirs with what He gave - and the fear at the end as the kind that stops a man, not the kind that torments him.
ان کا بدلہ ان کے رب کے ہاں ہمیشہ رہنے کے باغات ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں بہتی ہیں، وہ ان میں ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے۔ پھر ان نعمتوں پر ایک ایسی چیز کا اضافہ کر دیا گیا جو ان سب سے بڑی ہے: اللہ ان سے راضی ہوا کہ انہوں نے اس کی اطاعت کی، اور وہ اللہ سے راضی ہوئے کہ اس نے انہیں یہ سب عطا کیا۔ اور یہ سب کچھ اُس کے لیے ہے جو اپنے رب سے ڈرا اور اسی ڈر کی وجہ سے نافرمانی سے رک گیا — یعنی خشیت ہی وہ دروازہ ہے جس سے اس سارے انعام تک پہنچا جاتا ہے۔
