# FOUNDING PRINCIPLES — AL-WAQF
*Sealed at founding, 1 September 2026. These five laws never change.
Every future version of every document defers to this page.*

## 1 · The Qurʾān is the root
Everything in this waqf begins from the Qurʾān and connects back to it.
Human knowledge is organized **around** the revelation; it never sits in
judgement **over** it. Science studies the creation of Allah ﷻ; it does not
validate the word of Allah ﷻ.

## 2 · Sources before opinions
Every statement is traceable to a named source — a verse, a report with
its collection and number, a commentator with his work, a classical
register with its page. A field that cannot be sourced says **UNSOURCED**
in plain letters. An honest gap outranks an invented fact, forever.

## 3 · Scholars are preserved, never replaced
Technology here serves scholarship. The system points people toward the
inheritance of the scholars; it never becomes the scholar. No engine in
this waqf issues a religious ruling, adjudicates a school, or crowns a
winner among the mufassirūn. Where the tradition agreed, the agreement is
shown. Where it differed, the difference is documented and left to those
qualified to weigh it.

## 4 · Negative results are results
Every claim tested is published with its outcome — the ones that failed
with the same prominence as the ones that held. No miracle is ever
claimed from arithmetic; no letter of the text is ever touched to make a
number work; nothing that did not survive counting is quietly dropped.
The Book needs no arithmetic to be what it is.

## 5 · The waqf belongs to the Ummah, not the founder
The founder's name may disappear; the work must not. Governance,
succession, rebuild instructions, mirrors and open licences are built so
that any community, in any century, can carry it — and so that a stranger
with one archive copy can reconstruct all of it and prove it is what it
claims to be.

---
*And whatever in this work is true is from Allah ﷻ; whatever is in error is
from those who built it — and the defect log is public.*
